    Default Middle name help!

I desperately need help with dd2's middle name!

our choices are either just Ivy or Ivy Louise or Ivy-Louise.

Bit of background- Ivy Louise was my great-grandmothers name and the name Louise is my grandmother, mother, mine and dd1's middle name.

I'm not sure if its just the pregnancy hormones but I feel like dd2 might feel left out if she doesn't have Louise?

We also have a hyphen in our last name think Al-fayed.

    Thanks!!!!

I wouldnt hyphen considering you have a hyphen in your last name. Use Louise if you want to continue the tradition...dont worry about how she may feel later on, For what its worth, I think Ivy Louise sounds lovely and have always loved the name Ivy

ETA: Just read that its your DD1s middle name. I wouldnt use it for more than one child.

I would use Louise. The same middle name has been passed down my family as well.

Both my kids have the same middle name too. No big deal- not like middle names are used all that often.

Nooooo!!! Looking at middle names only I'm not a 1st name hyphen person!

Thanks for the advice ladies I think I will go with ivy Louise for her middle names. With the first and last names we have it works out to the exact same amount of letters as dd1.
