    Default Road Trip

We recently did 2500km in 3 days with a nine month old.......went well but I'm in no hurry to do it again. You are doing almost double that distance!
Bris- Adelaide would be ok, especially if you take the route through Hay/ Mildura and enter SA through Renmark or similar-( avoid going through Broken hill -nothing to see out there and long distances between towns) but I'd be curious to know how you'd do the trip across the Nullabor- are there many places to stop? (I haven't done it myself, but I've heard it's long!)

    Default Road Trip

Dp & I want to do this one day..personally I wouldn't do it with a 4 yr old, but then you know your kids and what they (and you!) can handle. I'm thinking minimum of 8 & 10 for me (they're 3 & 5 now) so awhile yet.

I think a 4 yo would cope ok, as long as you had some home comforts for her like fav teddy, blanket, toys, stories etc.
My 4yo loves going away on trips and outings.

Definatly get a DVD player for the car, perhaps an ipad for her to play some games on, some music CD's and books to look at.
Stop at opshops along the way and you can find some 'new' toys for her to play with on the drive.

I think it sounds like a great adventure, have fun.
