Default What if Liberal wins in september?

I understand abbott wants the paid parental leave to be mothers normal wage for 26 weeks, but is there a baby bonus for non working mothers? Does anyone know?

Unless he's proposed changes to the current baby bonus, I would assume it would stay as is for SAHMs

What does everyone think of this? Would you choose the 18 weeks or the 26 weeks with own wage?

I think paying 26wks of someones full salary for PPL will send the country bankrupt. It would be lovely but economically disasterous.

High salary earner = high tax payer, so it wouldn't really 'kill' the economy would it? There is more to the proposal than this, by cutting it down to one sentence makes it look bad for non working parents, the whole proposal is not that terrible, the Courier Mail published a good article on it this week I will see if I can find it.
