Everyone is infected with the zombie-making stuff yes. But the zombies' bites and scratches infect you with something else, basically it's just really filthy and kills you from a run-of-the-mill infection. So surely all the gore splatter would be pretty unhealthy too?

True, but maybe being bitten results in an infection that somehow kills. Like a very fast sepsis. Dirty skanky zombie mouths!

ETA which is exactly what you said above. I think if it like kind of being sprayed head to toe with dirty wee, but if someone were to inject you with it it'd make you pretty ill

Yes it's apparently the infection that kills, not the bite and the only thing that stops it spreading is immediate amputation if possible - like Hershel

I keep thinking they must have scratches, small cuts, even their eyes that it could get sprayed in. They just don't seem worried enough!

I remember in one of the first few episodes when they were hacking up a zombie to hang around their necks, and Rick told everyone to wear gloves, don't touch the blood etc. Hygiene precautions changed since then!

My theory on that it that at first there was lots of food for them, so they didn't rip bodies to shreds. Now food is scarce.........

    **spoilers**

Edge of my seat!! I know! I've never liked Andrea.. But I did that episode and the ending was very creepy!

Go Milton too! Setting the zombies on fire! I think he is going to cause a bit of trouble and the governor will kill him.

I've never liked her neither has DP but our view has totally changed since the last episode.

I hope Milton manages to kill the governer before being killed himself or at least works out he has Andrea and saves her!

I think Milton will save her by killing the Guv right before he kills her.
