Unfortunately I started smoking as a teenager and when i tired to give up in my 20's i found it very difficult. With my first DD I stopped when i found out i was pregnant. Stupidly i started again, all be cut down dramatically when she was 1. But 2 yrs later and lots of attempts to give up - I was pregant with my twins and gave up. Im sure the all day sickness for the full pregnancy took care of that! I coulnt eat, was in and out of hospital, so smoking was definitely off my things os wanting to do. I couldnt stand it!

I gave up when I fell pregnant. I had severe morning sickness and smoking aggravated it - every time I even smelled someone else smoking like DH I'd vomit. So in a way it was easy to give up because my morning sickness lasted my whole pregnancy.

No (I've never smoked) and I stayed away from smokers as much as possible during my pregnancy too. The smell made me feel sick.

No judgement here, but I just have to say I'm sorry but you can't possibly know for sure that smoking didn't cause any damage to your son. Some detrimental health effects don't come to light until adulthood.

Ditto. Just because baby was a decent birthweight doesn't mean there was no damage done...
