Default Re: Babies born early or overdue?

My first was induced at 38+6 and I was 21. My 2nd was born at 40+3 and I was 23. My 3rd baby was born at 41+4 and I was 25. My 4th baby was born at 37+6 and I was 27.

I don't think age plays a huge factor at all

I hate this whole EDD crap. wish it was more like - "you are due early Nov" or "dont make plans for the festive season". Im not sure but I have heard that in some countries they dont tell you a due date but a due time ie 'early nov', mid october etc.

I like that better - puts less stress on mum to "deliver" on time and less of a press to induce.
    Also agree with this!!!

But everyone else is obsessed with my due date. I've been saying early to mid June and so many people's reply is , 'oh yes what date?' argh! I'm being vague on purpose ok?!?!

I was 32 when I had DD and she came at 37wks. Will have to see what Tumbub decides to do to see if the extra 5 years make a difference.

I do wonder if the 'older mum's stats come from older mum's being more prone to pre-eclampsia and other complications which can result in prem birth? I don't know any figures on this though.

Default Babies born early or overdue?

Well I don't fit either of those theories! I had my first at 27 and she was 15 weeks early.
