Default Eligibility for JET part time study?

Does anyone know if the 15 hours minimum for JET includes study you do at home? I will be doing part time which is 7 hours 1 day a week, does that mean I'm not eligible?

I'm not entirely sure. How many hours does TAFE state you should be doing per week?
I know when i used jet last year they asked me if i studied on any additional days not on my timetable.
They put down an additional day on the application although i'm unsure if it was approved or not as i only used daycare for the actual days i was at TAFE.

No. One subject would not qualify you. You would need to be doing at least 2.

Most subjects will have a designated hours thing...

eg: most subjects at Griffith University say they are 10 hours of work per subject. Whereas UNE and USQ list some subjects as between 12-15 hours. So you'd need to check.

If it says 7 hours, then they will not give you an additional 8 hours study time.

But what harm is there in putting in the form? They can only say no right? And you might get a nice person who will say yes

Tafe can be different though. If your course is by flexible delivery, you may only need to go to tafe one day a week but it's still expected/required that you put in an additional 'x' amount of hours per week.
