Default Madison ....with son surname too much son?

For privacy I won't reveal my actual surname but need know if it's too son sounding to have first and last name with son ending. Both 3 syllables too.
    With my surname think :
    Henderson
    Peterson
    Anderson
    Emerson
    Harrison
    Mathison
    Richardson
    Williamson
    Dickerson
    Patterson

Personally i think its too much but in saying that my mum is Alison ******son and it sounds fine. I guess it depends on the name itself as to whether or not it flows.

Our surname ends with an "on" and I feel like a lot of boys names we liked just don't sound right because they end with the same sound. However I think the number of syllables makes a difference. In our case the surname is 2 syllables, first names with 1 or 3 syllables sound ok but I've been put off by 2 syllable names.

We had to vito a few names for the same reason. I think it sounds weird.

Hard to know completely without knowing your surname but if it kind of rhymes (think Madison Pattison) then no. I think it's a bit too much.

    I don't think it's too much.

I think it's too much 'son' to be honest. How about Madeline, similar to Madison?

I wouldn't. My surname ends in a Y and I couldn't choose a girls name ending in a Y as it sounded too 'singsong'

It really depends on the surname.

    Henderson OK
    Peterson NO
    Anderson OK
    Emerson NO (runs together)
Harrison OK (by me, but many would disagree)
    Mathison NO (too close)
    Richardson GOOD
    Williamson GOOD
    Dickerson GOOD
    Patterson NO

    That's my opinions.
