I think I might be in the same boat (not confirmed yet).. I'm 10w3d due
30/10. Before my first scan (7 weeks) I has bleeding and they saw "something of concern" but didn't tell me at the time. They called me back in for another scan at 8 weeks where the fs said it had "resolved" and could only see a small pocket of what she thought was old blood. This week (yesterday) I woke in the morning to a massive bleed. The ob got me straight in for a scan, bubs was fine. She thought I may have a low lying placenta forming, or a SCH but I have to wait until my NT scan next week to see if they see anything more. Bleeding has stopped (just old blood now) and I have to take it easy - no lifting, exercise or dtd.

Waiting - make sure you are taking a good iron supplement as well. The iron in the usual pregnancy multi-vitamins isn't enough if you are bleeding.

If anyone is still reading along, I have a question for those who have "been there, done that" before me

How long after each big bleed you had, did you continue to have spotting for? Im still having brown spotting (cm with brown stuff through it) after my big bleed last fri, had a little fresh blood when I wiped during the night..

I think it was a couple of weeks, and then later in the pregnancy very slight spotting again. Hang in there!

Ok cool thats great to hear. I hate seeing the old blood, but at least theres one good thing - its old!!! Just wish it would all go away and I could stop stressing Im paranoid its going to happen again though, especially when I go back to work or when Im out and about, how embarrasing....

Definitely a few weeks Hun . Hope it ends for you soon, even though it gets so light in colour it's still scary

Do you find it's quite old smelling blood? I remember thinking it smelt so rank and old.
