    Default Subchorionic hematoma

I had a huge one with my last pregnancy, 8cm wide the docs were telling me it didn't look good and would most likely MC, which I didn't just took it easy and now I have a beautiful 11 month old girl

I am currently 14 week pregnant and they found a small one again though they think its all good as its only small!

Try to relax and take it easy!!!

Thanks! I haven't really done and lifting or heavy housework.
By taking it easy is this what you mean? Still go to work ( only PT) but have a toddler and things to do. I'm worried in not resting enough?

How far along were you the first time the saw the SH?

Just try not to lift too many things(I know is hard I had 4 little ones with my last pregnancy to run around after) I would do the washing then get my hubby to peg it out or at least carry out the full basket!!! We also would have lots of movie days with the kids so I got a chance to lay on the couch for a couple of hours during the day.

By all means, do whatever makes you feel best. But there is no evidence to suggest that you should rest more or avoid lifting

If you think about it, what we're worried about here is the fact that there's a mass in the vicinity of the foetus, that's why the size as relative to the foetus's development is an important factor. Any dangers this poses cannot be alleviated by rest and cannot be made worse by activity. It's simply a matter of waiting and hoping that the clot will get smaller, and I'm not sure it's helpful to suggest that there's anything you can do to help or hinder this process.

I've been though this too and I know it's stressful. I don't mean to sound hard, but I don't think misinformation helps anyone.

    Ok great thanks girls xx

Hopefully when I see my ob next week it's gotten smaller. In the mean time ill do things as usual but maybe not go too OTT. I guess I'm pregnant after all may as well make the most of it (and at 13 weeks still have MS and still so tired!!!)

The ob I work with didnt seem concerned at all. Think because most go away quite quickly and it was old brown blood that came out was ok to. So she made me feel better about it all!
