Feeling very stressed Finally got through to nurse at drs reckons will do work cover forms tonight she actually looked at scan he had to have on his back Dp has bulging disc (which is what I have permanently) & start of osteo arthritis in his back. Reckons they will back pay Him once work cover goes thought but that doesn't help us this week though
Told him to take tomorrow off work but haven't booked another appointment or anything very slack n frustrating.
So looked at his pay slips & YTD he's at 34k so trying to figure out what a decent income estimate would be ???
I normally get paid Mondays so reporting would be a pain but if rather that than debt

Hopefully workcover will sort it all out for you

Make sure you ask c/link to alter your reporting dates to suit his pay day. DH finishes his week on a Wednesday (gets paid Thursday) so my reporting day is Wednesday (but I do it on Thursday after I get his payslips). If you don't do it this way, you will have to work out exactly how much he gets paid each day. You would be surprised how many people don't set it up this way.

I report Friday and receive payment on Tuesday.

Don't forget your dp's pay week may not match up with your reporting period, ie his pay week is Thursday to Wednesday and your reporting day is Friday you have to still work out what he has earned to cover the few days gap. The reason it would work for Redlips is she reports one day late but has her dh's pay slip then which matches her reporting period (please correct me if I'm wrong Redlips, that's just how I read your post )

Thanks I got it all sorted today but still took a deduction for centrepay rent of half the amount of rent out of parenting. The lady I spoke to told me my reporting days will be Friday & paid tues. DPs pay week is thurs -wed each week but this report I had to do from the 7-11th which was only 1 days work as he hurt his back n hasn't been at work since Monday set an estimate at 50 for DP n I'm not sure what she put mine as but we will be lucky to receive parenting providing so goes back to work soon. Pr work cover which the slack as$ dr still hasn't done the form for which is a PITA. So we still don't know how long DP will have to take off work yet

Does anyone else over estimate ?

Hi! I'm married with 3 kids aged 5,4 and 2. Hubby earns 55k and I earn 30k part time. 4, and 2 are in day care full time and 5 yr old at school. We get roughly just under 400 f/n ftb. For 3 children in care percentage is 87% or similiar. Also get child care rebate quarterly.
We aren't eligible for any concessions or anything, but the ccb is very helpful. We generally overestimate by around 20k, so we know at tax time we will get a lump sum of money. So car repairs/maintenance, annual holiday and other expenses are all guaranteed. Yeah it's tough some weeks, but you just make it happen I guess Best of luck with everything!!
