I sent a request to join your FB medicare page Makiey and I have read you blog. I had no idea how much is involved in surrogacy. Thank you for sharing your story and opening my eyes to a lot of things I will be up against as a surrogate later on.

    Thank you

Default January / February IVF cycle buddies: The TWW!!

Went for et today out of the five eggs only three were mature. They did icsi on all three with the result today being abnormal cells growing today. So my dh and I will be taking 6 months to make ourselves healthier in an effort to give ourselves the optimum chance of getting pregnant then.
Thanks for everything ladies, I may come back just not sure when. I'm pretty crushed ATM.

On my first scan I had 7 follicles 18+ & 5 under. The only found 4. Being a newbie I am still trying to get my head around it all, but i know not all follicles will have an egg but the big ones I think should have? But they found none of them? I don't really understand that I guess.

Will you be using the same protocol?
I have done just about them all I think. Was back on puregon 600 with the 2xovidel triggers, crinone and clexane - no idea what is next!

Wickets & Littesunflowers, I'm so sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancies. I had a couple before starting treatment & found the hope which turned into uncertainty and then loss almost unbearable. Now that you have confirmation I hope you can start to look to the future, but I am sorry you had to go through that pain.

It seems a few of you have had a hard time of it so Im sending hugs to you all.

My BT is on Friday and whilst the past week I have dealt with the 2ww well, it is the next few days that scare me. Last cycle my period started 9 days past EPU, which this cycle will be tomorrow. My tummy has felt a bit off today and Im desperately hoping it is not going to happen again. Because of my past chemicals I have promised DH I wont test before the BT.

On a lighter note, I have just realised that when i am scrolling on my ipad i have accidently been hitting the thanyou icon, so if anyone has received random thankyou's for messages that do not relate to me, that would be why!
