Not looking so good today - BT has confirmed I'm pregnant, but levels are really, really low, so back to more waiting for me.

    Greenmoon and Melissa, *hugs*.

Hi Makiely - my FET was a natural FET (which is non medicated) and it involved bloods to track when I ovulated, one scan, quick ET like with a stim cycle and then progesterone pessaries until BT.

Pretty straight forward. The worst part was the TWW!

Hang in there little sunflowers - thinking of you.

Hi Makiely, sorry to hear about your BFN (((HUGS))) I hope your FET is successful. My FET was 3 blood tests around ovulation, one scan to make sure I did ovulate which they could not see but the Dr gave her ok to go ahead anyway based on my very high levels in my blood showing ovulation. Then 5 days after my Ovulation they put the blast in like a normal ET and I did not have any pesseries or progesterone support after either. My body did not like the drugs from stim cycle or prog support after in my last round so 100% drug free for me this time resulted in a BFP. We are all different but thats what worked for me. That and being completely exhausted at ET, I slept for 5 days which I think helped implantation. Good luck Makiely for next time, I'm praying and sending all my best wishes to you and your surrogate.I'm thinking of going surrogate when my Best friend and sister are both ready to have kids as both are childless and had hysterectomy's but that is later.

So sorry Makiely! Hope your ok. Focus on the FET now, and fingers crossed that works.

Little sunflowers when do you go back for another bt?

Thanks for that everyone. And Torie pls do consider being a surrogate, there are many women out there needing a surrogates help, but not enough surrogates

Familyinthemaking, my BT is 25 Feb but i think i might get my GP to give me an early BT request for nxt week...

FET for us (both rounds) consisted of Gonal F from day 2 @ 25units daily until trigger shot 1 day or 2 before ovulation. BT on day 2, 9 and depending on the levels scan around the same time too to check ovulation will happen. Pessaries start from around 2 days post ovulation- for me its one each morning and night until pregnancy BT.

Hi Melissa, just signed up for you blog. Its outright unacceptable that Medicare does not cover your journey like for non-surrogate couples. If you need any support in writing letters or anything (to the government/local pollies), I'd be more than happy to help. Thinking of you and absolutely understand your BFN heartache (been there done that twice- horrible) xx
