Default January / February IVF cycle buddies: The TWW!!

    Can I join too?
Had FET of 5/6 day hatched blast on Sat 2/2. BT is 13/2.
Am feeling mostly ok about TWW but then I get some "down time" and suddenly I am obsessing about it.

I am tying myself in knots as others in diff threads are testing at day 10. My clinic doesn't test til day 16 so am now thinking about POAS. Was always going to try day before BT just so I was prepared for the result but now am thinking I could try earlier. Tomorrow will be day 9 so in theory I could POAS Thursday. Hmmm. Might buy one and then stare at it for a few days!

Kheeki - you just made me laugh with a mental image of Makiely chasing Chloe around with a POAS - CLASSIC!

Ha ha, I know everything's a little mor complicated when yr not the one carrying. I'd be testing everyday friggin day if it was me. But I've bought a box of 3, we've already agreed to test together Saturday morning, then ill leave the rest their for her to do as she pleases.

Luckily for me she's just as excited.

Hi everyone, I'm in the dreaded TWW too :-) We had our only remaining 5/6 day hatching frostie transferred on Monday and have our day 10 bt this coming Fri. Friday cannot come quick enough!

Bedlover - don't know why our clinic tests so early but from what they tell me, this test doesn't mean too much, it's the following bt on Monday that shows whether hcg is increasing that matters. Good luck with the poas dilemma, this wait is the worst of all waits hey :-(

How is everyone coping with the TWW? I have tried to prepare myself so as to not turn into a crazy person this time, but it's such a challenge. Hard to ignore the "signs" and "symptoms" sometimes :-( I've been doing acupuncture and just generally keeping myself busy and not thinking about it, but it's hard. Once I give myself time to start thinking about it all I end up obsessing and going crazy which I know is no good for anyone. Anyway I must keep myself busy, seems to be one of the better coping strategies for me.

Clucky sounds like positive things are coming your way, congratulations :-)

Kheeki you had me laughing too! :-)

Sticky baby dust wishes to you all :-)

    Hey Lovely ladies

I had a beautiful 9 cell 3dt on the 1/2/13. So I'm going crazy in the 2ww! AH feeling so out of it today. So frustrated & obsessed! I have been doctor googling way to much. I'm feeling annoyed at myself! lol Only 8 more to Bt! Omg I'm crazy in the coconut! I really did not expect to feel like this. I think I will start to Poas soon.

Congratulations Clucky! Sounds like a Bfp.

Sending you all positive energy & baby dust

    Wishing you all Bfp's!

Hi, I am also on tww. Going crazy.....we had our final FET on Monday. 2 embys were transfered and we are hoping for bfp. Told to test on 16th, it feels like forever away! We did a full IVF ICSI cycle in July/August and got a bfn. I feel this was mostly due to my employers causing a lot of stress (slight understatement)!
We have a beautiful DD who is 4 and were lucky enough to get bfp on our 1st IVF ICSI cycle back then. We then tried again with a frostie 9 months later and got a bfp! Wow yay! But unfortunately lost it at 14 weeks.
MIT has taken a while for us to be ready to go again. This is our last chance due to $$ . Due to the cycle not working in August our doctor recommended 2 embys. I am only 34 so we were surprised but now excited!
I have since changed jobs and got away from the negative stressful environment and am feeling great!
Feeling very nervous during this tww. Hang in there my little embys
good luck to everyone else xo
