    Default Choosing between two names?!

We will wait until we meet bubs to choose a name but I'm worried we won't be able to decide as we both favour one name over the other. The name we don't use will become the middle name. Unfortunately I feel silly using either name when she's not here yet so no real feel for either name for use IRL.

Choose the one she looks most like when she's born :-) you'll know the right one to pick :-)

We had several names picked out for ds1. When he was born none fitted him so he was 'boy of dancing chipmunk' for about 7 hours. Then, when my bff came in to see bub and I his name instantly popped into my head.

I think it's good to have names picked but sometimes until you see bub you just have to be flexible.

I should clarify that DP prefers one name and I prefer the other name we've shortlisted.

    Default Choosing between two names?!

We waited until DS was born to decide. Like you, we were down to the 2 names - once which was DH's preference and the other which was mine. We both took one look at DS right after he was born though and I literally just went 'Yep, he's a...*DH's preference*' I can't really explain how or why but it just suited him so much better.

I was down to two names with my DD, one I liked the other DF liked. When she was born I asked DF what he wanted to call her and he chose my name
