Default Re: Not sure what fluttering feels like and if I'm feeling it

I have an anterior placenta and I felt some good strong movements from about 18 weeks. I kept getting told by my mum that I shouldn't have felt anything but I found out it was def bub when I had my scan at 19 weeks and felt bub move at the same time as seeing it. I never felt flutters before that. I describe it almost like what popping corn would feel like if it pops in your tummy. Even after I knew I was feeling bub move my mum didn't believe me, only because she didn't feel movement with her first till 20 something weeks. It's different for everyone. And don't listen when people say you should have felt something...

I felt somthing similar when I got up the other morning disbride my insides felt like one of those big water bottles you see in waiting rooms and when you get water out of them it makes all those big bubbles float to the surface. Only for me it felt like big bubbles moving around my insides lol I just thought I was hungry though lol. Hopefully I will figure it all out

Default Not sure what fluttering feels like and if I'm feeling it

For me, those first 'flutters' felt like those little muscle twitches/spasms you get, but obviously inside. For the record, I'm overweight and I felt the movements very easily. With my second bub I felt them reeeeaallly early too.

IME it's easy to think something is kick, that really isn't, but it's harder to mistake a real kick for 'gas' or anything else... Does that make sense?!

Ahhh I think I just felt it. Im at work and had my stomach pressed against a bench and felt a really light tap tap tap tap coming from inside. I stepped away from the bench and could still feel it but only just. It kept doing it for about45 seconds!! Could this be it???

It definitely sounds like bub has been moving around how exciting. It's amazing isn't it.

The roller coaster feeling you described is how I described it at 16 weeks. It feels really weird. Now 27 weeks and still get it from time to time. But bub is a wriggler! Constantly moving....

It was amazing. It felt sort of like a pulse but obviously not consistent like a pulse would be. My boss must have thought I was a bit odd with this stupid grin on my face putting my stomach back and forth against the bench. If I wasn't really trying to pay attention to my body I probably wouldn't even have noticed it

Well now this baby is being quite stubborn I havnt felt any of the obvious movement again but I have noticed at about 6.30 am I wake up with this weird gas bubble feeling BUT I'm not sure if I'm imagining seeing as I'm half asleep. I did notice it the other day aswell and just assumed it was actual gas because I have been quite gassy lately
