Default Looking for a bassinet that will last for a few months...

Hi ladies! Hope you can help.

When DD was born we borrowed a bassinet that was tiny and only lasted a couple of weeks before she was into a cot.
This time, I want to keep my AMAZING sleeper in her cot for as long as possible, so D? will be in a bassinet for hopefully 3/4 months.
So did you have a bassinet or cradle that rocked, was nice and roomy and lasted a while? My babies aren't huge, but they aren't tiny either.
    TIA!

I had a Kingparrot Bassinet for DS and he was in it until he was 6 months old. I love it and will use it again with my next bub. DS was 8lb4oz and 54cm long when born so not tiny.

I have a boori cradle, which was far longer than any of the other ones I looked at. We got it cheap as it was floor stock at baby kingdom. Ds was in it for close to 6 months and he is a big boy! Even at 9 months I still put him in it when he was really unsettled at night so I could lie in bed and rock him. They are pricey though, but you can pick them up on eBay for a reasonable price.
