Default Tropical climate & temperature for bub

Would also love to hear from others what you dress bub in at night and what temp to keep the room to?

Keeping in mind our house is very rarely at the 18-20 degrees naturally as it is tropical climate.

    Thanks

Default Tropical climate & temperature for bub

I've asked this question before as I was driving myself crazy each night & disturbing bubba!

We now have an air con in bubs room, but before that in this heat we had her in just a nappy and a .5 tog sleeping bag with the fan on high.

How old is your little one?

Sorry, didn't answer all the questions the room is at 23/24 when the air con is on and it's about 24/25 with the fan...

Bub is 9 months. We have just set up a temp contolled aircon so I wasn't sure what the ideal temp would be? Bub usually sleeps in a short sleeved suit and a .5 tog sleeping bag too.

Well I find 23/24 is good for our DD.

I sometimes put the air on before she goes to bed then turn it off when I'm heading to bed and put the fan on high, but tonight DH put her in a singlet so the fan is on low and room is at 23....... For now

DS is 15 weeks and sleeps in a bodysuit and a 1.0 tog halosleep swaddle. The air con is usually on 20-22 as it's a free standing portable unit so it needs to be cooler to keep the room cool. Once he moves from his bassinet to his cot I'll probably change it to 24.
