    No you are not alone. I bought a new laptop last week with windows 8 so far i've had to google how to shut it down and how to minimise windows so i can go back to the desktop.
    I'm still trying to figure out how to get to control panel to uninstall the anti virus already on the computer.
    It's not user friendly at all! It's like they've tried to put a tablet operating system on a computer!
    I don't get why they removed all the user friendly features like the start menu?. I'm aarrgh all the way too..lol

    It is WEIRD! I feel like I can't find anything and I'm usually the one people come to with windows problems!!

    Very hard to get used to!

    I love it! It doesn't take a bit to get used to but I think its awesome!

    I have 7 Ultimate and was thinking of upgrading but not so sure now!

    That was the idea but I think it would work better on a touchscreen computer!

    I'm glad I got it before 31st Jan at $39.95! I'd be cheesed if I'd have paid the $199.99 they reckon it will be now!
