    Default Eating Tuna while pregnant..

In my first pregnancy the only thing I ate other than breakfast was pretty much tuna for a month during my first tri, I couldn't get enough of it.

You can have tuna whilst pregnant but only two small tins a week due to mercury levels.

Tinned tuna is fine, as its only the smaller baby tuna that is used for the tinned stuff. 2/3 serves a week is fine. I think it's the fresh tuna and other large fish you have to be more carefull with (one serve per forghtnight)

Lol - complete opposite! Once I found out I was preggers (4wks), I decided to go extra healthy n start bring gourmet salads for lunch at work. Fancy lettuce, walnuts, carrot, cherry tomatoes, cheese n grapes, plus a tin a 'flavored' tuna. The first day I couldn't finish it - I put it down to morning sickness, but by the third day I realised I couldn't stomach the tuna! :-/ This lasted thru the pregnancy, and
come to think of it, I haven't eaten it since bub arrived, either - 4mths ago!

With my first pregnancy I had tuna every day... it was all I wanted for lunch or breakfast. Dinner was a plateful of meat. Yep, I had major meat/fish issues in my first pregnancy lol, didn't want for anything else.
