Default Have your children met your Grandparents or Vice versa

I never met my great grandparents on either side but my 4 daughters have met and absolutely love their great grandparents on both side. Our eldest took it really hard 2 weeks ago because her paternal great nan passed away and DD1 who's nearly 6 has been so worried about her 'great pop being alone and without his beautiful wife' God love her!!

I have met some of my great grandparents and DD has met 8 (out of 10) of her great grand parents. Sadly DD hasnt met my wonderful granddad as he isn't with us anymore and nor is DPs Pop.

The great grandparents range from 70-83.

I will add that my Nan and Granddad are two of DDs favourite people so she sees those great grandparents every week.

DS has 3 great grand parents. My paternal grandmother is almost 89 and lives around the corner from us, he sees her about once a week. My maternal grandparents are 78 and 74 and DS sees them twice a week. DS also has my dad and DFs mum and dad. I love that he has so many grandparents!

DS has met my nanna, the only grandparent of mine who is still alive.

DH's grandparents passed away before DS was born.

Both DH grandmas are alive - 96 and 92 years old! DS has met both and they love him to bits!
