Default Weird period - I'm a bit clueless...

I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this before as it's new to me.

I got my normal period on Jan 13 ... Then I had a day of heavy bleeding .. Like a period on Jan 25 (12 days layer) it was gone completely by mid next day. Now today Feb 2 (8 days after that) I've had to use a tampon and when I changed it it's just kind of brown blood.

Has this ever happened to anyone before?? Sorry it's TMI

Are you on the pill, or have recently started or stopped?

It sounds like it could be breakthrough bleeding. I get this on the pill

If you're not on the pill.... I have no idea sorry.

Break thru bleeding is mid cycle bleeding and is often about issues with hormones. I got bad break thru when I was on the pill a million years ago. It can happen even if you don't miss a pill, My dr told me it means that particular brand of pill is too low in hormone for you.

If it keeps happening I would see the dr to get a higher strength one

Oh okay ... I've been on the pill for over a year and this is the first time - if you get it does it normally always happen or just randomly one month??

Sorry it just freaked me out a bit!! Lol

I haven't used contraception or the pill for about 15 years so my memory is hazy. But from memory I got it from the first month until I stopped it. If you haven't had it before and you've been on it a year it may just be a weird one off thing.

Have you done a pg test? I know it's a long shot but there is a slim chance.

I'm hoping it's just from missing that pill. I have had unprotected s3x with a guy I was seeing for a few months but we've called things off. I am not actually due for my next period until at least Feb 10 so I'm not sure a pregnancy test will do any good for at least another couple of days. Oh man I hope this is just a weird period scare :/
