    It's done

We had lunch at his parents home, but his sister didn't show up.
We ate and then presented them with the framed picture of the ultrasound. Mum did the 'Whats this' confused thing, and to be honest, I think it was genuine confusion, she didn't know what she was looking at, but as soon as the dad looked he knew right away and looked right at us and said really... is this you... I just nodded with a goofy smile and my partner said yes, and he said congratulations and was so happy.. and thats when mum clicked I think, that it was an ultrasound picture of a 1cm baby lol. She was so excited and happy, she was almost crying.

One thing I wasn't too flash hot on was his mothers comments that we have to marry now before the baby is born. I don't want to marry 'just because im having a baby'.

Congrats! Don't let anyone tell you what to do, this way if you do decide to get married down the track your LO can be a part of the celebration.

Congrats! My mother told me to send her some flowers when we get married (as she thought we should run off to a registry office) after I told her I was pregnant with my first. We'd been together 12 yrs so it was unlikely there was going to be a wedding just because I was pregnant! Now we have 2 she still
drops mega hints! 16 yrs after getting together 😛

I would marry him, but I wont because she said we have to, or because im preg.

id rather be proposed to and married because he wants to, not because he feels its duty.
