Talking About to announce the Pregnancy to '1st time Grand-parents'

    Wish us luck.
Ok wish my partner luck, I'm not nervous, but I am holding back yet another chunder (Morning sickness just wont let up)

We are about to head to my partners parents home, with a cute framed picture of the ultrasound baby.

Fingers crossed they don't faint or blow up at him
It is the first grandchild so I think they'll be ecstatic once the intial Oh Em Gee wears off!

We had to cancel telling the news as only mum was home.

But darnit, first thing she said to me was "what's wrong with your eyes?"

"Uhh nothing, im just very tired and need more sleep"

    :what:

Then in true fashion she tries to stuff us with food and we are like no no its ok we just had a big lunch out. (Cough-bullstix-cough)

Then she says I didnt eat much last weekend at the family gathering either and I had to put on a song and dance about how I did but she didnt see and how I went back for the bbq chops and the curried vegies heaps, loved those!!

    Surely she has no idea

When are you going to try again? I was "lucky" that in the first few weeks of my pregnancy my crohns was flaring up, so I was able to use that as an excuse as to went I wasn't eating much and didn't look well

We have arranged to do lunch tomorrow - Mother loves cooking and stuffing any human in walking distance full of food so she absolutely enjoys putting on a spread for a family lunch... she goes all out. I've always loved it, now I gagg with the morning sickness and all LOL. I've asked her to make me some soup though, said I wanted to try her won-ton soup as I haven't yet, so she's making me some of that.

I've mentioned to the partner he should get his sister over for the news too. Hopefully she will come.
