    Default CSA assessment received today...

And my ExDP has to contribute $0 per week to our daughters upkeep.
It's not a huge deal since that was also his contribution to our household when we were together.

    Does anyone else receive nothing?

From my experience with DS1's not so nice father, they only pay $0 when they are incarcerated or not earning an income. He was incarcerated for a bit then had his own business earning a high income but had everything in his girlfriend's name so was technically earning nothing :-\
Really gets under my skin when these b@stards have no regard for their children's welfare grrrrr....

It can and does happen, sometimes legitimately, sometimes not.

In our case I earn more and have majority care meaning we now have a $0 assessment. *shrug* it happens.

He was on the dole and played computer games all day when we were together and the assessment was based on this.
Since I've left he has gotten a job driving taxis. His income is all over the place but I know he earns as much and sometimes more than I do. I will be lodging for a change of assessment.

I got a CSA assessment recently too.

It's based off incomes from 2008... when he was an apprentice in Australia. He's not here anymore, and CSA don't have any updated info from him... but it's apparently supposed to be $70 a week... and even though his wage would be much more now, I'd still LOVE to get that $70.

I don't. It sucks. So while I'm supposed to be getting something, I actually get nothing... and yeah, it sucks. It sucks knowing that that $70 could mean for my daughter, HIS daughter... but that we don't get that... even though that would be way less than he actually SHOULD contribute if they took his new earnings into consideration.

There's a whole bunch of reasons it would make life crap for us if I fought for it... so I don't... but yeah, it sucks. It just makes me hate him that little bit more.

Opposite side of the fence here. Df wasnt working when we met, only started working last year. He called after he had been paid for the first time, to avoid a debt, and make sure everything was legit. He was told they would just adjust things come tax time. I made him calls again and he was told the same thing!

    Frustrating!!!

We are Trying to do the right thing and get fobbed off!
