Default Nissan Navara and 3 child seats

Do Navaras fit 3 child seats across?
I'm expecting twins and my son will be tall enough to fit in a size 4 and up booster seat by the time they are born.
I have safe and sound seat now and 1 safe and sound capsule (which I shall have to try in the car sometime soon).

Just wondering which seats you may have found that are 'slim' and therefore fit more easily?

We bought 2 cars late last year, before I found out I was having twins and really don't think the small car we bought will fit 3 seats across. . Sigh. Not a fan of car shopping. So hoping the Navara will be sufficient.

If you have a look at the safe and sound compaq it's designed to fit smaller cars so that might be your best bet to fit them all in can't comment on the navara tho sorry

Subbing - I might be able to check for you. We've got a Navara but don't have 3 seats yet to check, hoping the new capsule will be here very soon so will chuck them all in then and see if they fit. One of our seats is a High Liner which I highly recommend as a narrow booster, excellent safety features. Will let you know how I go!

I don't think our Navara would.

Well, seemed to manage to fit 2 seats & one capsule across (I didn't attempt to do all the seatbelts up), however it is very squeezy.

Particularly with rearward facing seats, the front seats need to be moved forward more (which doesn't help when I'm driving as I've long legs.

Hoping that a slimmer booster seat for over 18kg might make a touch more room.

Shall have to look at hiring slimmer capsules than the unity.

Hi Tap, ok I finally got my capsule and got out to check. I put my Hi Liner SG booster in the centre seat and the Steelcraft capsule to one side and it was not a tight fit at all. You would need to do up the booster seatbelt before clipping the capsule into the base or you'd need super-long arms.

We have a 2008 STX dual cab which comes standard with 3 fixings behind the seats. I know other models do not have them fitted as standard.

Another consideration is that I put the capsule behind the driver seat and(DH's car) and DH is quite short. There was not really any room to move the seat right back if the driver was tall.
