Me. We did one cycle with him. He is very friendly, caring and personal. However, he is too busy! IVF is something which we dont have time to be waiting for re appointments. Once one cycle fails, we would like to move on to the next. For us our age was one reason we cannot afford to wait. So it's hard if time is the constraint. Making appointments was a pain as Dr Yong is popular and does a lot of OB work. I also find that he is very conservative with regards to IVF treatment and doesnt listen with his heart. But as a person, he is very very nice.

We decided to switch to Dr Anthony Lawrence as his schedule was much more flexible. We could see him easily. Did two cycles under him and got our bfp. I find Dr Lawrence very humble though very quiet. He is open to suggestions too. For our two cycles, I actually requested certain things in the protocol and he was able to oblige without telling me he's the doctor and I must only listen to him!

Hi Muzzy, I've just joined bubhub. I was google searching Dr Peter Yong as my gp gave me a referral the other day to see him in relation to fertility and I came across this thread, what did you decide to do in the end? I haven't called to book an appointment yet, still researching.

Hi Loulou, well my whole situation changed and myself and hubby are taking a break from the whole Ivf journey so I cancelled my appointment and are going to stick with my current fs for another round of Ivf! Going on a 6 week holiday can't wait! Good luck!!
