    Default Jelly slice help!

I need to make a jelly slice today. Haven't made 1 before and there is so many different recipes out there! What ones have you tried? 1 says use condensced milk for the creamy layer, another says cream cheese and cream and a 3rd says condensced milk, cream cheese and cream!

I use cream cheese and cream no condensed milk. Either way I think it should set in the fridge what ever you use.

I got a great recipe online from Taste for raspberry jelly swirl that looked and tasted gorgeous and had a reduced fat content by adding in yoghurt. So pretty and so easy!

Condensed milk and gelitene (sp) I add a tiny bit extra, also a tiny bit less water in water jelly layer, make sure its cold before pouring otherwise it mixes, also pour over the back of a spoon.

Let each later really set well. I would start mine 24 hours before needing it. e.g. mt at work wednesday, base tue morning, cream from lunch time on, jelly before bed, cut in the morning.

Can share my recipe when ds sleeps if needed?

Any recipes would be great thanks!

I'm guessing the cream cheese gives a more cheesecake taste and the condensed milk gives a sweeter taste?

Ok first one is in progress! Just added the condensed milk mix, it's very lemony! Is the lemon really important? I was thinking the next one could be lemon less.

You can put less lemon if you feel the taste is too strong, but you'll probably find its not that strong once it has set.
