    Default Catnapping.

Could all those clever clever people who always advise people to 'go with the flow and not stress about' their catnapping babies, please come and explain to my screaming DD that she should chill out and not worry about routines or what babies are *supposed* to do. Clearly there's nothing wrong with her only having 15-30 minute naps at a time, she's just screaming bloody murder because she's hung up on getting into a routine.

    Cheers

Kw, I remember some of your posts, you had it heaps worse than me DD will occasionally do an hour or two, if I bounce her on a fitball and pat her bum the whoooole time.

Bit hard to relax when your baby screams all day and your 3yo gets nearly zero of your time

Have you read Elizabeth Pantley's book 'The no cry sleep solution'? Am reading that and find it quite good. It talks about catnaps too. There a book for babies and one for older kids. The library has them.

Thanks, yep I read that one and it didn't help much unfortunately with my DS. I found Babybliss by Jo Ryan was really helpful for him (less so for DD so far), so that's another suggestion for you if you find the no cry sleep solution no help

    Default Catnapping.

Ha! I could have lived with the catnapping if DD wasn't so miserable from being permanently exhausted and crabby, she has just turned one and still only sleeps a bare bare bare minimum. I just wish I didn't spent all those fruitless hours shushing and bum patting. I'm sure it's girls hey
