Default Food dye in water so looks like juice

I wouldn't bother. My DS only drinks water and he's fine with that.

Food dye isn't all that healthy anyway...

Default Food dye in water so looks like juice

Thanks guys I get that he doesn't have to have what other kids have its not about that.if he realises and gets really up tight about it I was thinking of an alternative to a juice box
Obviously as I said before he wouldn't know now I just had the random thought before but now I get that food dye may be worse than some juice!
    Thanks

Default Food dye in water so looks like juice

I wouldn't bother recently my 2.5 year old asked for juice at a party where the other kids were drinking it... Had a sip said yuk and went back to water. If they have never had it I find they don't want it

I wouldn't worry. My DS has only had water or milk. Recently he had a sip of juice and pulled an awful face and reached for his water again.

Default Food dye in water so looks like juice

My DD is 3 years. She gets juice sometimes but knows its a 'sometimes food' as its not a healthy drink. I mix her juice with 1part juice, 2 parts water and she sees that as the normal way for her to have juice as she sees me add the water. I think it's important for children to understand from a young age what they are putting into there body and why.

I just remembered that there is a company (Frantelle I think) that do plain water in a pop top bottle that resembles a juice pop top.

at 10 months I wouldn't bother, but as for older kids, I have no issues giving my 3 year old and 18 months old watered down 100% pure juice.

I wouldn't bother. DS1 will be 2 next month and he only drinks water. We have given him sips of juice etc but he just pulls a face when he tastes it and refuses anymore lol. He loves water. He has never been interested in kids drinking juice.

The yellow colour you get from the supermarket has 102 and 122 in it.
This is a snap shot of 102
