    Default Gender at 15 weeks???

Well it's a bit of a crazy question but.....
I had a scan yesterday at 15 weeks due to a bleed, I have a low lying placenta but that's another story!
I asked the sonographer if she could tell the sex. She said she wasn't very good at telling gender early but she would look! We saw 3 lines, so she presumed girl but was not sure. The bit that got me was the 3 lines weren't equal or anything! In fact they didn't seem to even line up or anything??? Do you think I should trust this or wait for 20 week scan which is 4 weeks away???
    Thanks for advice!

    Default Gender at 15 weeks???

I know of 2 people who got told at their 12 week scan! I was very skeptical but turns out it was right for both of them.
But I guess it can only go one of 2 ways...

Maybe just wait until the 20 week before buying pink things, just in case

With DS2 we were told at the 12 week scan they were almost positive it was a boy. Obviously correct lol.

If you aren't convinced just wait till your 20 week scan. Or maybe go to a place like precious previews for a special gender scan.

    Hi there!

We got told at our 12-week scan that our bubba is a boy, with around 60% accuracy. Come our 20-week scan, we were told DEFINITELY a boy. Hubby saw a little thing dangling in the 3D scan . They did say you can tell the gender clearly from 16 weeks though.

The lines thing is not accurate .. Also saying girl .. More risky
I found out boy at 14 weeks .. But she was rather certain (70./.) ..

We were told at 17wks 'possibly a girl as I can't see any dangly bits but wait until your 20wk scan as its still a little early' (serious about the use of dangly bits!)

She is a girl but we still didn't rest easy. Had 2 3d scans to make sure she was 'still' a girl!

I had a scan at 16w and saw boy bits! I was 100% about it but they wouldn't confirm with me that day. Confirmed it was a boy a couple weeks later (chromosome testing).

I had a scan at 16 weeks and was told a girl based on the three lines, and it was right :-)
