Default Trying to conceive a specific gender?

Is anyone specifically trying or conceive either gender baby? If so what have you tried?

When TTC DS2 we dtd every second day.

At the moment we are TTC a girl (i have two boys). We are doing the O+12 method. We refrain from dtd for a week prior to ovulation (dp refrains from helping himself too). Then we dtd 12hrs after O. So far we have only done one cycle that failed because my cycle is all wacky and isnt co-operating yet as im still breastfeeding.

I haven't read of that method yet, Everything I've read points to dtd before ovulating (upto 4 days prior) as the female sperm last longer.

I might look method that up online.

I'm TTC #1 but desperately want a girl. I know its bad to think that but I still do!

I am pg with a girl and we DTD 3 days prior to O and then day after. So maybe that theory does work?!

    I've only researched girls!

But from what I can gather:
    - DTD on ovulation
    - sperm being deposited closest to the cervix as possible as they swim faster than girl sperm but don't last as long.

    FX for you!

We did try to conceive a girl, we dtd after ovulation and yep, I got pregnant with a girl! When we had our son we dtd on ovulation day, but we weren't trying for that. So I guess there is some truth to it.
