    Default dancing course

Since my roommate move out, i have enough room to stretch my arms and legs, i think of learning dancing according to the tutorials on YouTube, while, my friend says i should take the dancing courses, as i have no Dance basic theory. The free is high, i can't afford it, can a girl without any basic theory learn dancing without taking courses?
