    A drop of lavender essential oil, or an ointment with lavender in it works wonders. Both myself and DD react quite badly, a friend suggested this and it is great!

    Bi Carb soda- make into a paste with water and apply to the bite.

    Rubbing the inside of a banana peel on it works wonders...sounds odd...but helps DS every time

    Thanks all! Lavender oil helped a bit, DP went and got antihistamines and Soov from the 24 hour chemist and he's now fast asleep and snoring. Poor little fella

    Default Mozzie bites help

    Find someone with an aloe Vera plant, break a small amount off and squeeze the sap bit onto the bite. It smells like B.O. but works instantly! Otherwise, I find pawpaw ointment to be pretty effective too, as a pp suggested.
