    Default Need a little reassurance

Hi everyone just had a bad weekend and want to get an opinion if this is normal or not.

Saturday morning hubby and I got food poisoning off some pizza. We went to hospital and got a shot of Maxolon and it lasted about 24 hours and feel better now.

When I was being sick numerous times I got some pains where the baby was sitting. Nothing excruciating just more of being aware of the spot bubs was siting in.

After the sickness I got a bit itchy and smelly down there (sorry tmi) but figured it was from the sweatiness and general yuck from a bug. I had a shower that night and again the following morning.

Now tonight (Monday) I went to the toilet and when u wiped noticed a big string of ewcm sort of clear and yellow tinged on the toilet paper (sorry again TMI) no odour no blood. i

I know when pregnant you get an increase wetness which I have but this is honestly the first mucus since I ovulated. I don't remember having this with DS but doesn't mean I didn't just can't remember.

Sounds stupid but I now have it in my head I hurt my baby and my cervix is opening. I am 10 weeks btw

So here is my question - has anyone else have/had mucus around this time or do you know if it can be normal?

I will make an appointment with my obgyn for Wednesday but some assurance would go a long way with putting my mind at ease.

I think it should be nothing, I've had a lot of cm over the past few weeks.

It's totally normal to have a lot of CM. I'm 22 weeks and get lots of it some days and none others.

I have a lot more when pregnant than I usually do so as long as it's not a strange colour or odour I think it's normal
