    Default Changing relationships

How has the dynamic in your blended family changed after having a child together? Currently DP and I have my DS, but I am due in August and scared that DP and his family may start to treat DS differently.

I don't know yet but I'll be able to tell you in just under 8 weeks lol.

I have dd (10) and ds (6) from my previous marriage and this bub will be dp's first and our first together.

Hopefully nothing changes but I guess only time will tell.

So far nothing really has changed in our situation, though I may have gained more patience & understanding towards DSD, so that's a positive!
And DSD LOVES having a little sister

Nothing changed with us or our families. Everybody treats DD1 as if she is DHs and so does he. You'd never know any different.

The only problem I've had is that this year FIL gave our 2 daughters that we've had together money for xmas and nothing for my daughter. I put the money straight into their money boxes so none of the girls know any different. It upset me a lot though I cried!

I have 4 kids before my husband and I had our baby and nothing has changed, they treat all the children the same and there are no favorites. My husband is a great dad to all of them and doesnt see them as any different from our baby.
