Lovely thread idea! And what wonderful partners you girls all have
DH is so amazing. He's a 'tough guy' with strong opinions, challenges me everyday - but im saying that in a good way, I was with a push over once, I stopped growing and learning. With DH theres always something we feel differently about (in between all the things we agree on ) and it keeps life fun, interesting, we both keep learning and growing and I just love that.
But behind my tough guy is the sweetest most gentle and caring person that I've ever met. Since pregnancy I've found even more what a loving, caring and surprisingly tolerant person he is! I have been so exhausted, and although all our house chores are done completely together normally, he really has picked up so much of my half of the work. In fact I've barely done a thing in weeks and, I've really gotta change that. He hasn't said a word though. The only thing he has said is that it sucks that we don't get to cook dinner together anymore (I have to leave the house. The smell of it cooking makes me feel sick) cooking dinner together is something we have always done, it's like a catch up of our day time, i miss it too...
My tough guy with his big beard and V8 cars cried through The Notebook, cries through every episode of One Born Everyminute and cried through the entirety of our wedding ceremony and speeches (not sobbing lol, just teary) ... I love that despite a lot of crap he's gone through in life, he can still show his emotions, he even still has emotions.
    Ah sh*t I love him!

You're right they do sound similar! We have only been together 2 years though and I hope that in 10 years we can still have this love as you and your hubby do
