    Default Best hairdressers in canberra

Can anyone recommend a nice hairdressers in canberra?

Somewhere where you get offered drinks, maybe a scalp massage while your hair is been shampooed.

And of course friendly staff..the last time I went was last June on my birthday. I was 30 odd weeks pregnant & the hairdresser burnt my scalp with hair dyer more than once.

After the 2nd time I said to her nicely 'its a bit hot' & her smart reply was 'well it has to be to be able to dry your hair'

Felt like crying till she has it done as all I wanted was some pampering as I didn't have a particularly pleasant pregnancy & couldn't wait to get out of there.

    La Bimbi.

They have a salon at Acton and also one at Belconnen.

When you arrive you get tea or coffee or a cold drink.

When you first get in the chair they give you a stress relief massage with gorgeous smelling Aveda oils and you also get a scalp massage when they wash your hair.

DH and I both used to go there and we never had a bad cut.

I'd definitely recommend it. And not enormously expensive either. Not cheap, but not super expensive.

Sounds very similar to Off London they are in the city, near ANU.

I've send quite a few people there and they have all loved it. Same deal, they have tea/coffee menu and bring you as many as you like and give you a scalp massage and use great products. They also do a fantastic blow dry.

Off London is on the edge, just across from uni pub. I usually park in front if the street theatre at ANU or at the school of music, both about 5 mins walk.
