Also we use 1/2 finish powder and top up with baking soda. Works great and less expensive than tablets.
Wow. I'm so gonna give that a go when we need to top up rinse aid again. Tanks

Also, if you are getting reside.. Is it an older model or reasonably new? Or old one used to do this (LG) and parts had started wearing on it, like the washer motor and heating element. Or new one (F&P) is pretty awesome. So much better. As for helping reduce the residue, finish and morning fresh I think it is, do a liquid for the dishwashers.

Ignore the line that says there is no need for rinse aid with finish power ball tablets and same with quantum. Make sure the biggest openings face down (really some people can't grasp this concept), lay large knives and utensils flat under mugs on the top shelf.. Or get one with a utensils drawer if you can lol.

The quantum instructions say you do not need to use rinse aid with them. I've been using these and just started using eco store, which also say they include rinse aid, and have had no problems (new machine though).

I don't use rinse aid with the quantum tablets either, why do you use it?

I used to only use quantum tablets and my dishes were always soaking! As soon as I put rinse aid in they were dry!

My machine is a new $1200 one too!
