I dont trust it at all, my last pregnancy and this one we conceived while using the mini pill, always at the same time every time! I even had an alarm! Going to try the mirena this time!

I haven't BFd myself yet as DS was a bottle baby, but I personally wouldn't risk the BF contraception thing either.
SO many of my friends have fallen pregnant with a 2-3 month old before they've had their first period again that I have no faith in that concept whatsoever lol.

I was on the mini pill after DS and didn't have any breakthrough bleeding at all which was a big problem for me with the normal pill. I was thinking about getting implanon after bub is born as DH is considering getting the snip otherwise and we haven't really 100% committed to the 'only two children' concept yet.
My only concern is weight gain because a lot of women seem to have that problem with it.

Default Don't trust mini pill (breastfeeding)

Thanks for the input everyone. I have decided not to use the mini pill and have opted for condoms until I'm done bf. then I will look at my options

DH will be getting the snip but we have decided to wait until DS2 is about 1. He is 32 and the first dr he spoke to was reluctant to do it for men under 35??
