Default Outside ants - driving me nuts!

Whats the best way to get rid of them? They are taking over our backyard. We cant enjoy it properly as whenever we go out there they start crawling all over us.

Tips please? We need them gone!

Find the nest (or whatever it's called) and spray it, they're all coming from usually 1 spot.

White vinegar sprayed works like a barrier. Ant sand works too.

Can you see a trail? They're coming from somewhere, the nest is usually a hole in the ground. Its hard to see but if you follow the pack you should see it. I once had to call a pest guy because I had a major problem once and he showed me how to find it and kill it for next time. Killing a few you see won't get rid of the problem unfortunately (if its a big problem that is)

Mortein ant sand, works wonders. Just sprinkle it on the nests and on their trail, they take it down inside the nests and it kills them all.

100% Lemon essential oil. Also brilliant for keeping spiders off the line. At most chemists.

As far as I understand with the ant sand you just leave it and they won't cross it! I've heard baby powder works like the ant sand too.

I love white vinegar! If you happen to find the nest pour the white vinegar in it!

White vinegar is good to kill weeds too.
