Yes a short positive period, but other brands have faint lines that last ages, this one only has faint lines for a few days before the positive.

Default Faint Test lines on OPK

That'd be less confusing wouldn't it? I guess I'll see how it compares to Fertility2Family for me. The strange thing is my Fertility2Family OPK control line has been faint lately, I wonder if they've gone bad?

I'm using Fertility2family and have had varying results.

One month got no light lines, went from a light line to a very strong positive in a day and then back to nothing. The following month I had 10 days of light lines, got slightly darker, but never as dark as the control line. I've started doing my temps now too so that I know for sure I do actually ovulate in the month and can check what kind of lines the OPK was giving me when it was positive.

I don't want to change brands as I then won't know what they will do and it may take me another few months to work them out and I don't want another few months of having no idea when to BD.

Thats a good idea to compare results! I was trying to use the saliva tester as well as the OPKs but I found the saliva tester a little annoying as you have to wait for the saliva to dry and the results are a little hard to read.

As I still have some fertility2family left I will probably use both kinds to see what the differences are.

I might also try charting my temps as it can't hurt & I'm very impatient and thats the first test that can be done in the morning!

I feel so consumed with everything ovulation :s
