Default Does this affect my criminal record ?

I lost my licence due to loosing points on my p's on a school holiday (where it was poorly signed) worst part they didn't notify me for over a year when I had been on my opens for almost 6 months without loosing a point. Because of this they took away my opens licence and suspended my licence rrr.

As a result its not on my criminal record but it IS noted on something, because I pay high premiums on any car insurance and most insurance companies won't insure me the police said (Qld) it should never have happened but because it happened in another state I couldn't fight it. So its cost me greatly as a result. Stays on your driving record for 5 years

It doesn't go on your criminal record unless a judge hands it to you. Ie driving without a valid licence, driving an unregistered vehicle, reckless driving, etc.. DP got done for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without a valid licence (he was riding a dirt bike on an unsealed road) and when he got a police clearance it showed up as a spent conviction.

ETA he has a similar offence from his stupid days that is just over 7 years ago that still shows up. Its a spent one too though.
