Hi Ann, that's ok. The saizen was $195 per day at QFG, I started on D2 and I think I went through to Day 12 so actually probably closer to $2000, depends on how many days you need. My AMH was 4.8 when we did it about 2 years ago, haven't retested as didn't really see the point. I am going ok, been having lots of symptoms that I am hoping are positive although dont want to get excited and be dissapointed, boobs are at least a cup size bigger and sore, lots of cramping in uterus for last few days but no bleeding and today my heart was racing and felt like palpitations. All could be early signs of pregnancy or just from the hormones, haven't snuck a HPT, thought it was better to wait until BT so I dont get a false positive. How are you going?

    Hi Prettypetal

Yeah guess it depends how long you use Saizen for. I am still umming and erring about it. Is it the first time you used it? Well your symptoms do sound cautiously optimistic, but like you said sshhhhh.....until the BT .

Well I am getting ready for my cycle to start this week, excited, nervous, optimistic then not so optimistic....I am actually in overseas currently (due to hubby's work), flying out to Bris tomorrow morning, so bit down about leaving him behind and jabbing by myself and finding my way to the Drs, etc but he will be there before EPU. I have been away for good part of last year but have done trips back to Bris regularly. So its certainly not fun doing this mostly alone, but such is the nature of his job.

So I wont have internet access for few days but as soon has I get organized I am hoping that I see some good news on this thread, hint hint...

Take care and only two more winks away, I am so crossing my fingers for you.

    Hi Ann,

It sux that you have to go through the first part of your cycle by yourself, I'm glad to hear your partner will be there for EPU though, after EPU was when I always felt the worst.

I have to say that I would strongly advocate on behalf of Saizen because my Blood test was a BFP . I also had acupuncture after my transfer so not sure if that helped too but as this is the first cycle that actually went to transfer I am thinking the saizen probably had a lot to do with it. Other than my supplements which I had previously mentioned I also cut out caffeine, alcohol and low fat dairy products from my diet as I heard those things can effect egg quality, I still had some full fat dairy products but switched to almond milk for my breakfast. Repeat blood test on Wednesday to make sure HCG is still going up and then will hopefully be booked for 7 week scan to see baby/babies for the first time. I am a little scared to get excited as a small part of me didn't believe this was going to happen and I know there is a long way to go and anything could happen. So at the moment, I am happy when I have morning sickness (just nausea so far), sore boobs, back and uterus cramps because it tells me everything is going as it should. Good luck with your next cycle please let me know if you need any more information I have my for you xo.

    Default Gonal F

I'm on my third round of IVF. 1st round at 250 Gonal F and got 8 eggs. 2nd round 300 and got 16 eggs. My specialist told me that going over 300 for Gonal F is pointless as it has no effect over 300. Just done a 3rd round and egg collection today - only 4 eggs 😟

    Hi.

I did the first two cycles at City Fertility but he had some bad experiences with the FS. The nurses were lovely tho. Both cycles failed.

We will be doing a FET when I get my AF.
