Default Hot chips and low birth weight babies?

I ate a lot of hot chips and potato chips - it was the only craving I had the whole pregnancy. I indulged nearly every day... DS was 3.8kg at birth - not a small baby at all

This is what I'm thinking lol
my first I was on a very strict, very healthy diet.
We left the hospital with a tiny 2.7kg bub.
My second I was able to eat what ever I wanted which included hot chips and gravy often at work for lunch, he was 4kgs!

Who's to know whether it was the hot chips ( I ate a lot Aldi frozen cafe style) or the caramel lattes that caused DD's weight to be lower that DS's. All I know is straight after her birth I couldn't stomach the thought of eating hot chips for about 3 months after she was born
