Thanks bunny! I'm currently lying in bed with my feet in front of the fan trying to stop the itch lol

I had my bp checked on Monday and it was fine, if the swelling keeps up I'll get it checked again

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have had swelling in my feet since about 8 weeks and BP is perfect, the GP says that for me it is the result of varicose veins. I am on my feet all day (I am a hairdresser) so try to elevate my feet as soon as I get home from work. It is worse in one foot over the other though. Goodluck and hopefully it will settle down!

Most of the time there is no discomfort, that generally comes with wearing my enclosed work shoes. So I know wear Birkenstocks to work most days. Elevation really is the best for it, if I can convince my Hubby I get him to rub them a little as well. Hope it doesn;t get any worse for you but like the pp just keep an eye on your BP.

Oh I wish I could wear open shoes my work doesnt allow it I've been getting my bp checked every few weeks, at my last check it was better than my pre pregnancy bp so hopefully it stays that way!

Like a pp, mine feel heaps better with a foot rub, my gem of a hubby ends up rubbing them for me almost every night so if you can con someone to rub them for you, you'll probably feel much better :-)

I blew up like a balloon with my daughter, but no varicose veins resulted thankfully, but like many others I was up and on my feet most of the day, especially at work.
With my son it was almost worse because I DIDN'T get any fluid retention until AFTER he was born, 4 years later I still have a fluid pocket right at my ankle but doc's not concerned, only I am.
