Sleep for New Mums-to-be!
Would you like to learn about:
- Sleep changes in pregnancy
- Your baby’s sleep
- What to expect about sleep and feeding changes in the first few months
The Woolcock Institute, together with The University of Sydney, is introducing a sleep program to help first time mothers understand more about sleep during pregnancy and following childbirth.
If you choose to participate, you may be invited to attend two 1.5 hour education sessions in the last few weeks of pregnancy. The first session will be about your sleep during pregnancy and as a new mother. The second session will be about what to expect of your baby’s sleep.
The program is free of charge, but we will ask that you fill out some questionnaires on three occasions during the first 10 months after your baby is born. Upon completion of your participation in the study, all participants will have the chance to win a hamper of baby goods worth $200!
For those participants who were unable to attend the sleep program prenatally, you will receive booklets with similar information to guide yourself through.
