What's with SA people having different pronunciation!?
No way is it SA.. Ingine I thought would be a kiwi thing? I pronounce Wednesday as wensday.

Oh so many... And so many I already agree with in this thread!

    Jah-lah-peeno instead of ha-lah-pen-yo.

Nuke-yu-lar instead of nuke-lee-ar (heard McGee say this on NCIS once, and I nearly cried).

Day-boo instead of deh-byoo! (I know this has already been mentioned...)

Bron-owes instead of Bronk-owes (as in the NRL team - one commentator says it with a silent 'c').

Skewl/ pewl, etc. instead of school/ pool.

And one for all you Aussies... pahsta instead of pasta (to rhyme with rasta). Faster pasta doesn't work for me, as the two words don't rhyme! Not unless you said 'faster' with a northern English accent!

I hate how my mum pronounces cumin "cummen" instead of cue-mn.
    Sounds rough!

I was an exchange student 20 something years ago to a Mexican family in a boarder US/Mexican town and for a while went to school in Mexico. The letter "a" is pronounced "ar", I don't think there are any exceptions to this.
