    Hubby says exzellorate instead of accelerate. Drives me mad when he makes up his own way to say things lol.

    Default *spin off* what mispronounced words drive you mad

    Those elastic straps with hooks on the end that most people call "occy straps" my aunt in law calls "jockey straps." No matter how many times we all correct her.

    Aren't they octopus straps and they are nicknamed occy straps?? Maybe explain that to her...oh and what jock straps are!

    Those are the ones, yep! She just doesn't listen to other people, and she'd definitely tune out at the mention of what jock straps are for 😃
