Does she go to TargetS at WestfieldS?

DH, his family and circle of friends say WestfieldS. There's no S people! Drives me insane.

They tried telling me in NSW it's WestfieldS but in Qld (where we live) it's just Westfield. Um, no, no it's not.

Oh I thought of another one:
when people drop the 'a' from my name. It's Nat a lie not Natly.
And the one that gets me is when DP says beet-root not beet- trute...

    ggrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I pronounce absurd "ub-zurd" instead of "ub-surd". DH hates it. I can't help it.

"There are two possible pronunciations of the word harass: one with the stress on the har- and the other with the stress on the -***. The former pronunciation is the older one and is regarded by some people as the only correct one, especially in British English. However, the pronunciation with the stress on the second syllable -rass is very common and is now accepted as a standard alternative."

Oh yes! This really annoys me.... And I have to say that I see it on a daily basis. I often get comments on photos of my son that say 'his gorgeous'.
